Waiting in God is one of the hardest things you will ever do. You're trying to follow his will, you're trying to be obedient, you're trying to hear his voice, yet things get complicated. It seems that taking Wounded Head, Wounded Heart from the finished manuscript to the finished book took much longer than I had anticipated. Editing and proof reading, editing and proof reading. I am finally finished as I wait for the publisher to send back my author proof copy. I have pre-ordered 500 books that will soon be available for purchase.
Notice I said waiting 'in' God, not waiting 'for' or 'on' God. I think waiting 'in' God involves believing and trusting that God has it all worked out while you wait for something to happen. Waiting 'in' God means waiting with a peaceful heart and mind. The mind may be busy planning and organizing but it is at peace. Determine today that the next time you have opportunity you will wait 'in' God for whatever you are expecting to happen.
